A very DIY self promo mailer I sent out trying to convey the variation in my skills and style in both illustration and digital art and what inspires and influences me.
Mailer contained: 2 x A5 flyer inserts, one being a tribute to a “A Tribe Called Quest” with a free mp3 download for the receiver. The other was an illustration with a bit of wordplay and call to action.
I also included a mini board game for recipients to keep on their desk. Called the “Desktop Dictator” it’s for when your lacking motivation or direction, simply spin the arrow and let it decide what your going to do next with your work time. Business card was also included of course.
The covers were recycled card/chip board with the stencil “FOR YOUR EYES ONLY” on the front and an illustrated wrapper around the outside to hold it all together. They were sent in recycled envelopes with stickers to host the postage details printed on my miserable inkjet printer on even worse matt sticker paper I had at home. Sent out to past, present and future clients (fingers crossed).
